What is Learn2Row?
Become part of a fast growing sport and part of the history and tradition of Lake Wendouree.
In our Learn to Row course you will develop rowing technique, boat handling skills and rowing as a crew on Lake Wendouree. This course focuses on both individual and crew skill development in order to get the maximum enjoyment and introduce you to the sport of rowing.
The program is run by Ballarat City Rowing Club members who are qualified coaches.
Adult Learn2Row participants should be a minimum of 18 years old, able to swim at least 50 metres unassisted and be of good general health.
You can join Learn2Row as an individual or with friends. Either way, you will get to meet a new group of people and current Ballarat City Rowing Club members.
The program runs for six sessions and costs $150. This cost covers all coaching and equipment.
Dates of Program
This program will start after the Australian Master’s Rowing Championships May 22-25th, Champion Lakes, Western Australia. We’ll keep in touch!!
What to bring
Bring warm layers of clothing, including a full set of dry clothes, towel, hat, drink-bottle and wear runners for indoor erg sessions.
