Ballarat City Rowing Club offers a number of memberships that gives access to coaching, club boats, oars and gym equipment based on your level of fitness and skills. Membership includes invitations to club social events and the opportunity to compete at local, regional and state regattas.
Memberships (except Social) include a Rowing Victoria affiliation fee and insurance levy for Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Personal Accident Insurance. Rowing Victoria will require proof of age when you first join.
A discount of $15 is provided per annual membership if more than one family member is a member of Ballarat City Rowing Club. Use the Coupon code: Family on the final page of the payment process.
Ballarat City Rowing Club is not required to be registered for GST as we do not exceed ATO income requirements. GST is not included in membership fees.
Membership can be paid by debit/credit card via the Membership Categories below or by direct bank transfer.

Member Declaration and Terms of Agreement
When you join Ballarat City Rowing Club, especially as a competitive rower, you also become subject to the policies of Rowing Victoria and Rowing Australia. You will receive an email from Rowing Victoria to read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of membership and will be invited to complete your declaration online. A template of the terms and conditions (for your information only, you do not need to complete it) is as follows:
Membership of the Sculling & Rowing Academy for junior rowers to train at Ballarat City Rowing Club over winter before school rowing commences.
The Academy is an intensive introduction to sculling for school rowers who have prior experience of sweep rowing or limited experience in a sculling boat.
Adult Learn2Row places are limited. Download and complete the Senior Membership form. Learn to Row involves 6 sessions, 8am to 10am Sundays commencing April 15 2018. Session dates are 15, 22 April, 6, 20, 27 May and 3rd June.
Junior membership for full-time secondary school students. Use of club equipment for training and racing depending on skill level and coaching supervision. Includes $21 Rowing Victoria affiliation fee and $5 insurance levy.
Student membership for full-time TAFE and university students. Use of club equipment for training and racing depending on skill level and coaching supervision. Includes $75 Rowing Victoria affiliation fee and $5 insurance levy.
Provides access to gym equipment and boats for recreational rowing. Includes $10 Rowing Victoria affiliation fee and $5 insurance levy. Senior competitive members have priority access to club boats. If you wish to race, you can upgrade to Senior Competitive membership by contacting the Treasurer and paying a further $130 to the club by direct deposit.
